I have had the opportunity and the benefit of knowing John for many years as he was one of my son’s middle school teachers. He was a well respected teacher and a true gift to my son’s education. It was later I found that he is a gifted woodworker as well, specializing in furniture that is both beautiful as well as functional. I mention functional, because in my profession as a Rolfer, I coach my clients regarding healthy and ergonomic living and working environments.

John has designed and built my office furniture, cabinets, and shelving, and the most amazing entertainment center. When the audio engineer saw the cabinet for the first time, having worked with John to get the technical design just right, his comment was that it was the most beautiful and amazing piece of art and function that he’d ever seen.

John also made me a dining room table and eight chairs. I cannot say enough about the most beautiful and comfortable chairs that I have ever sat in. They are elegant, masterfully crafted, and so comfortable in the way the chair holds the human body, You’re not just sitting in chair, you are supported and comforted by its very design.

We have had theses chairs for almost 10 years and they look and feel just like they did when John first brought them to our home.
